Professor Amuda-Kannike (SAN) extols Emir of Ilorin at 80

A SENIOR Advocate of Nigeria and Provost, College of Law, Kwara State University, Malete, Professor Abiodun Amuda-Kannike (SAN) has congratulated His Royal Highness, Alhaji (Dr.) Ibrahim Sulu Gambari (CFR); the Emir of Ilorin on his 80th birthday celebration.

Professor Amuda-Kannike in a congratulatory message on Wednesday in Ilorin described the Emir as a quintessential leader to humanity in general, and Ilorin Emirate in particular.

Professor Amuda-Kannike stated that the peace and harmony in the Emirate since the ascension of the monarch to the throne have been immense adding that his exposure as a retired jurist has contributed positively and  immensely in dealing with issues as the traditional ruler of Ilorin.

“On behalf of my family, accept my esteemed congratulations on your 80th birthday. We are not only celebrating the numbers but your exemplary leadership particularly humility and love for humanity which has attracted to your Highness so much love from the people”.

“Please, accept our profound birthday wishes, prayers for good-tidings of great joy and many more years as you continue to serve your people. Happy 80th birthday Your Highness”, Prof Amuda-Kannike wished.

Amuda-Kannike, who is a Professor of Law also prayed to Almighty Allah to give more strength to the monarch for his continuous capacity to serve the people.

HRH Alhaji (Dr) Ibrahim Kolapo Sulu Gambari CFR , a lawyer, has been the 11th Emir of the Ilorin Emirate in Kwara State, since 1995. He is the permanent Chairman of Kwara State Traditional Councils and one of the 10 traditional rulers in northern Nigeria.
