Group hails Buhari on Nigeria’s 60th Independence Anniversary

…pledges solidarity to Buhari’s determined efforts to fix the nation

The National Association of Scrap and Waste Dealers (NASWDEN) has hailed President Muhammadu Buhari on the Nigeria’s 60th Independence Anniversary billed to hold on Thursday 1st October.

The group in a statement signed by its National President, Comrade Iloke Nzeribe on Wednesday in Abuja expressed confidence in President Buhari’s unyielding commitment in fixing the decayed national infrastructures across the country.

“We are all aware of the state of decay of infrastructure in the country for many decades and can see great efforts of the President in trying to address them since he assumed office in 2019.

“It is also known to everyone the level of havocs on many economies including Nigeria due to the outburst of Coronavirus pandemic in the global space which has slowed down robust policies of the President.

“We are solidly behind you in your great efforts to fix the nation from the decays and will continue to give our supports accordingly”, Comrade Iloke stated.

NASWDEN President said that that the association is a key player in the Nigeria’s industrial revolution and economic growth emphasizing that all the raw materials being recycled for use in the rolling and other steel industries are largely sourced through their members.

He also said that their business activities contribute immensely in boosting security noting that all the dump sites being used by criminals and hoodlums are usually levelled and minimized while suspicious activities reported to the relevant authorities which have continued to aid security operates in their statutory tasks of providing security to citizens.
