Anambra Police commences screening for recruitment of constables

ANAMBRA State Police Command has scheduled screening of candidates for recruitment into the Nigerian Police Force.

A press release through SP Haruna Mohammed, PPRO Anambra State Police Command on Thursday disclosed that the Screening commences on the 24th August to 6th September, 2020 and is absolutely free.

However, applicants are required to appear with face masks, in their white T’ shirts/ short nickers and come with their original credentials.

“The Anambra State Police Command wishes to inform ‘Ndi-Anambra’ that screening of applicants for recruitment into the Nigeria Police Force will commence on Monday 24/8/2020 from 7:30am at Prof Dora Akunyili Women Development Centre Awka.

“The exercise will start with screening of the applicant’s physical attributes and their credentials”, Mohammed stated.

The Command also said that the applicants apart from the requirement to appear at the screening venue in their clean white T-shirts and shorts, are to come with the following mandatory basic requirements:

i. National Identity Number (NIN);
ii. Original and duplicate copies of credentials – O’ Level Result(s), Certificate of Origin and Birth Certificate/Declaration of Age – neatly arranged in two white flat files with recent passport photographs attached;
iii. Printout of application submission confirmation page
iv. Duly completed Guarantor’s form.

It is also stated that applicants who fails to present any of the above requirements will not be considered for the screening. They are also warned to conduct themselves properly and in strict adherence to COVID-19 safety guidelines. Anybody that has nothing to do with the exercise should not be found within the vicinity of the screening exercise.
