A Senior Advocate of Nigeria and Professor of law, Abiodun Amuda-Kannike has commiserated with Kwara state governor, Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq over the loss of his father, Alhaji Abdulganiyu Folorunso Abdul-Razaq, SAN, OFR.
Amuda-Kannike, who is also Dean, Faculty of Law of Kwara State University, KWASU, Malete in a condolence message said the deceased was a good man, an accomplished and a devout Muslim up till his death.

The deceased, Alhaji Abdul-Razaq who was the first lawyer in northern Nigeria, and former Chairman of Body of Benchers passed away in his sleep at about 2am on Saturday July 25, 2020 aged 93.
Amuda-Kannike added that the late legal luminary is Mutawali of Ilorin and Tafida of Zazzau, and had contributed immensely to the country as a diplomat and minister, and prayed almighty Allah to accept his kind soul and also for fortitude to the governor and entire families and mourners to bear the loss.
“I commiserate with the state governor and entire families over the loss of their patriarch, and urge the mourners to take solace that the deceased lived a fulfilled life and known as a peacemaker up till his death.
“Allah gives and also takes at his time, hence, what matters in a time like this is the quality of life and legacy the deceased leaves behind.
“I attest Alhaji lived a good life and died as a devout Muslim, and therefore confident his soul will be accepted by almighty Allah.
“Accept my condolences our amiable governor and the rest of the family, and may his gentle soul rest in peace”, he said.
