‘I am proud of you’, Prof Amuda-Kannike applauds three Kwara lawmakers on Cttee appointments

The Dean, Faculty of Law, Kwara State University, Malete, Prof Abiodun Amuda-Kannike (SAN) has applauded the two-fold appointment of the Senator representing Kwara Central in the Senate, Mallam Saliu Mustapha (MSM) as the Chairman, Senate Committee on Agriculture and Rural Development, and also as Vice Chairman, Senate Committee on Petroleum Resources (Upstream).

The learned silk cum don also extended his congratulatory message to the two Honourable members in the House of Representatives representing Ilorin-East/Ilorin-South Federal Constituency and Ilorin-West/Asa Federal Constituency; Hon. Ahmed Yinka Aluko popularly known as ‘Original Home Boy’ and Hon. Mukthar Tolani Shagaya respectively. The two members were appointed as the Vice Chairman, House Committee on Privatization and Commercialization and Vice Chairman, House Committee on Basic Education respectively.

Prof Amuda-Kannike in a statement to the media in Ilorin during the weekend said that he has confidence in the three lawmakers stating that their passion for the welfare of people particularly the grassroots over the years formed his opinion that their respective appointments would add values to the polity, and at the same time, he charged the lawmakers to take the appointments as a privilege to serve their people and also to enhance their commitment towards good representation and humanitarian service that will promote the dividend of democracy within their constituencies and in the national circle in general.
