Tabitha Foundation Marks 2nd Anniversary, Counts Her Blessings
The saying that “attitude determines the altitude” in life cannot be a mere expression.
The human spirit is a very strong state and when it is conveyed through a positive medium for tangible projects with determination to add value to the lives of people around in order to alleviate their sufferings, this will in no small measure become realistic.
Tabitha New life foundation is a project necessitated by a determined motive to salvage lives that have been plummeted in one way or the other by unwholesome circumstances.
It is a humanitarian service established solely to cater and intervene in the plight of widows and widowers that can not fend for or help themselves.
Hence, this service was inaugurated.
We are grateful to God today because we are marking the second anniversary of what seemed impossible two years ago. Anyway, where there is a will, there will always be a way. Glory to God we listened and followed the vision; today tears have been wiped, less privileged have been raised, the hungry have been fed, joblessness has become a thing of the past in many homes etc.
When we reminisce on what God has done through Tabitha New Life Foundation in the lives of our destiny helpers (widows and widowers), we can not but appreciate God, the One who sends on errands and provides adequate support.
To our covenant partners, supporters, sponsors on whose shoulders the financial apparatus of the foundation rests; We are most thankful for the kind of great and understanding individuals who are highly committed and determined to see life transformed through TNLF.
You are indeed answers to prayers.
In retrospect, Tabitha new life foundation has really spread smiles on faces and lifted many from a nonentity status to become worthy. Figures and facts are in our monthly bulletins of our empowerment programs.
We have successfully empowered 2348 in various aspects of enterprise such as; shoemaking, drinks(wholesale & retail), food selling, grinding machines, soap making, cream production, Fabric (adire) making, training and established a fashion designer with sewing machines. We have been able to feed 4644 across the country. The figures are innumerable.
We hope to do more because our sponsors and covenant partners are encouraged and happy as they witness lives that are being transformed.
In addition to this propensity for liberation, our services have been extended to Ten(10) states of the federation, while our presence has been felt in USA, REPUBLIC OF IRELAND, UAE, NETHERLANDS, and the UK.
We are poised to take it further and beyond more frontiers until the whole world is penetrated.
This year 2021, We received an Africa Gold Award on Widow’s Care 2021 from the Africa Skills Centre, South Africa and Lion Outreach International USA.
Tabitha New Life Foundation was also awarded an International Ambassador and Africa Outstanding NGO of the year by the same organization in June 2021.
Our Interventions and Future Growth Trajectory is to spread through to all the 36 states in Nigeria and to cascade to every local government.
Our vision is not limited to building a national brand, but to nurture it into a continental and global brand, with imprints of TABITHA in all corners of the world where Widows and Widowers reside.
Our coordinators in all these states and countries are super active for their immense efforts and voluntary contributions of immeasurable proportion.
Ladies and gentlemen, to say that the work has been scratched on the head is an overstatement.
The World is in need of more and we are the “called”, to execute these tasks in order to make the world a better place.
With God on our side and support of our partners, we are ready to rewrite widows & widowers story globally.
Therefore, we call on all notable personalities, men and women, young and old to come closer and be a part of this global assignment.
One of our major target programs and planned projects is to set up Skills Acquisition and Development Centres well resourced with basic equipment and machinery where we will have resource persons from all over the globe visit the centres to train our widows and widowers on practical skills in order to empower them to be self sufficient and financially independent
This is a pool of resources that is important for development, and as we tread this path, may God help us.
We do not pray for widowhood, however the realities do stare us in the face and so we need to take pragmatic steps to help out.
Your assistance and determined support, with renewed vigour of the existing volunteers will definitely close the gaps for these categories of people of which we are not totally insulated and isolated.
