Excerpt from Battlefield of the Mind

By Tiana Owolabi

On WRITE-TEENS Whatsapp platform, I shared this particular write-up and I decided to do the same here because I know it will bless lives.

I was actually thinking of the many lessons I have learnt from the book but one thing never ceased to cross my mind and of course, I will be sharing it.

If that’s the only thing I will share concerning the book review and it will encourage just “One person” (or more),  God will be glorified.

The one thing that never stopped coming to my heart was a prayer point or statement that I turned to a prayer point. Check the next line, please.

Lord, whenever you reveal something to me, help me to have a knowing in my spirit that what you have revealed to my mind is true. Help my mind, Lord. (Chapter 10, page 84)

I love this prayer point because it met a need in my heart that I have been praying to God for some months.

Many times, when God reveal something to us and the devil will begin to fill our mind with memories of those who have done it and failed, or bring your weakness to your mind and begin to affect our reasoning by making us give reasons to justify what God has said in the other way round.

The point is “that is the tactic of the devil”. He makes our mind to be a battlefield, that is struggling to receive and work in accordance to what God has said in order to receive more from him.

That is why that “prayer point is very necessary”. Also, deal with those negative thoughts that the devil has brought to your mind with the “Word weapon”.

What has God said concerning you?

What words did God dropped into your mind?

Don’t allow the devil to play a trick on you or turn you to a joker.

God’s word will surely come pass, only when you receive it with gladness of heart, openness of mind and willingness to obey as He leads you.

You are made for more.

I hope you got value from this. Kindly, let me know via the comment section.

Thanks for reading through.
